Chemical properties: white oily liquid, slightly sticky, pure product is flaky crystal. There is a weak Yang Li, almond aroma. Insoluble in water and glycerol, soluble in most organic solvents.

Uses: used for cellulose acetate solvent, perfume fixative, candy flavoring agent, plasticizer, insect repellent. The product is used as a spice, product specifications may refer to the Shanghai Q/QBH68-79, ester containing at least 99%. Can be used for a variety of floral perfume fixative agent, but also of those solid perfume insoluble in essence in the best solvent only, can make the artificial musk dissolved in essence (1kg benzyl benzoate dissolved 0.45kg sunflower musk, musk ketone musk xylene in 0.205kg or 0.28kg). Also used for preparation of whooping cough medicine, asthma medicine etc..
