Botanical Source: lemon eucalyptus
Preparation: p-Menthane-3,8-diol (PMD) is obtained from comminuted leaves of lemon eucalyptus by extraction with certain solvents And then semi synthesized.
Appearance: Clear or light yellow liquid with special mint flavor.
Content : It contains not less than 80% of p-Menthane-3,8-diol ,
Mixture of cis- and trans-pmenthane-3,8 diol.
Water: not more than 5.0%
Package: 25/KG per drum or packed with little parcel.

Studies of the product: The Center for Disease Control has recognized PMD as the only effective, natural substance for deterring carrying . PMD can be synthetically manufactured; however, one study has found that repellents containing synthetic PMD are not as effective as those containing naturally derived PMD (Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus). This study also shows that naturally-derived PMD is as effective as when used in like quantities
