Human systemic effects by intravenous and ocular routes: visual field changes, conjunctiva irritation and other eye effects, cardiomyopathy including infarction, and changes in bone marrow. Experimental teratogenic and reproductive effects. Questionable carcinogen with experimental tumorigenic data. Human mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
