Characteristics:
1. Be of high thermostability, maintain stable under temperature 180 ℃.
2. Be stable to acid and alkali, could be used in wide PH range.
3. Be of high fungicidal efficiency, Bactericidal broad-spectrum, be effective to bacteria, mould, X-YLC and algae. Be of high degree of activity to Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria.
4. Be of good security, LD50, Rat mouth>400mg/kg, toxicity grade: low toxicity, biodegradable.
5. BIT and the preparations are of good stability, extra stabilizer are not needed. Do not contain heavy metal, chlorine, formaldehyde, Formaldehyde release agent and inorganic salt. Be stable in wide PH range and be of long-term protective effect to the anti-corrosion material system.
Usage: 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) is a main industrial fungicide, preservative, mildew preventive. It is of prominent effect to restrain the microorganism such as mould (fungus, bacteria), alga(e) to breed in organic medium, which help to solve the problem of organic medium (Mold, fermentation, metamorphic, demulsification,smelliness) caused by the microorganism breeding. So in developed countries, BIT is widely used in latex products, water soluble resin, painting (emulsion paint), crylic acid, polymer, Polyurethane products, Photographic lotion, papermaking, printing ink, leather, lubricating oil etc.
