Properties:Soluble in benzene, dichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate, acetone, slightly soluble in ethanol and petrol. Insoluble in water.
Uses:This is a delayed accelerator, with good anti-scorching quality, as well as short vulcanizing duration, which would improve the tensile stress of vulcanization. Minor discoloration, no blooming, antioxidant quality of vulcanization is superior. When applied, adding zinc oxide and stearic acid are necessary to strengthen the effect of TMTD, TMTM, ZDMC, DPG or other alkaline accelerators that are used as second accelerator, as well as being activated by MBT and MBTS.
