Detailed Description

Naturally occuring mycotoxin produced by many species of Fusarium.DAS is a type A
trichothecene and usually produced by several Fusarium strains together with T-2toxin. Its derivates possess anticancer properities. It inhibits initiation of protein synthesis, resulting in the death of rapidly proliferating cells.
