Detailed Description

Application:
1. Important intermediate to synthesis Prostaglandins, some Antibiotics, lipid-lowering drug Lovastatin and Simvastatin.
2. Versatile protecting reagent for amines, amides, and especially alcohols, among others.
3. Can be selectively removed in the presence of a t-BuPh2Si protected alcohol.
4. Used in a preparation of isoxazoline N-Oxides from 1-bromonitroalkanes.

Remarks:
? Flammable and corrosive solid, UN2925 4.1/PG II, should be kept in cool and dry place.
