Ascorbic acid (also known as Vitamin C ) is a colorless crystal or a white or almost white, crystalline powder which discolor n exposure to air and moisture; odorless or almost odorless and tasted sour; easily soluble in water and a few partial soluble in ethanol; insoluble in ether and chloroform. As well as, vitamin C takes part in many metabolism procedures in the human body, helps decrease brittleness of blood capillaries and increase body resistance.
