1. As a dye intermediate. The product can produce benzaldehyde-2,4-disulfonic acid [88-39-1] under the action of sodium hydrogen sulfite, and benzaldehyde-2,4-disulfonic acid is a dye intermediate.









2. For the synthesis of active deep blue K-FGR and acidic lake blue A, benzaldehyde-2,4-disulfonic acid can also be obtained by sulfonation and oxidation of toluene.
