Colorless oily liquid. 21 ° C melting point. Boiling point 324 °C. Flash point 146 °C. Insoluble in water. Slightly soluble in propanedioxime. Soluble in oil, ethanol and ether. With a light almond-like aroma, spicy. Sodium benzoate and benzyl chloride can be used as raw materials for synthesis reactions.
