    D-trehalose (anhydrous)

    D-trehalose, anhydrous (α,α-trehalose), molecular formula is C12H22O11, trehalose has the function of stabilizing biofilm (cell membrane) and protein structure and resisting desiccation, which shows a broad prospect for its application. Trehalose is applied to the protection of biological products. In addition, trehalose has the effect of inhibiting the decomposition of collagen, and thus can be used to improve osteoporosis.
