The compound β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate, abbreviated as HMB-Ca, CAS: 135236-72-5, and β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyric acid (HMB) are widely found in citrus fruits and certain vegetables such as Cauliflower, leguminous plants such as clams, and certain fish seafood. Due to the lively nature of HMB, Baolong Chemicals uses synthetic methods to convert it into calcium-beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB-Ca); calcium salts are widely used, such as food additives, dietary supplements, and the like.
