Specializing in the development of biotech driven, environmentally friendly products, we have built our鎻媗obal Green Tech Industrial Park鏀乼 our Dongguan headquarters to house our state-of-the-art biotechnology and chemistry R&D laboratories. In addition to our GMP lab, we also possess sophisticated manufacturing facilities and a quality management system that has led us to achieve ISO 9001 certification.

Our business is segregated into four product categories.

绋╫me and Personal Care Products鏈瀠r home and personal care division, the largest of the four divisions, contributed to over 43% of our FY2003 total turnover. It consists of some of today鎶?most popular household brands including the鎻焛nolux鏀別tergents and鎻昦 Douce鏀峣ne of body wash products.

绋﹏dustrial Surfactants鏈e second largest division in terms of its contribution to turnover, contributing to over 30% of our Group鎶?FY2003 total turnover, this division has a sizeable portfolio with over 75 product types. Seven production lines are dedicated to this division. With the recent surge in customer demand, we have planned to further increase our production capability in this division to meet forecasted demand.

绋smetics and Skincare鏈der the鎻梐rjorie Bertagne (MB)鏀俽and, we manufacture a full line of skin care products. With a distribution network of over 100 counters throughout Hong Kong, Macau, and the PRC, and with state-of-the-art production facilities, the availability of MB products is expanding rapidly. With the hEGF formulation, which goes into all our MB products, this in-house developed, special ingredient鎶?proven effectiveness in regenerating skin cells has put MB in the forefront of the skin care industry.

绋otechnology Products鏈is division, under our wholly owned subsidiary, Baolijian Genetic Engineering Co. Ltd., is the research and development arm of the Group. It is responsible for development of biotechnology techniques and formulations that goes into the various GGT products for maximizing product efficiencies. Such formulations include industrial enzymes, recombined bio-enzymes, hEGF, and L-Lactic Acid.

In addition to these four product areas, our GGT laboratories, which employ some of the country鎶?most highly qualified PHDs, provide a central research center for the Group. Our GGT labs focus on inventing new technological solutions that positively impact markets and create business opportunities.

In 2001, our Group was awarded the title鎻坸cellent Brand鏀倅 the China Commodities Academy. We were also conferred the title鎻梠del Company for Establishing a Famous Chinese Brand鏀倅 the China Quality Inspection Association. Furthermore, in May 2003, to further solidify our Group鎶?strong market position, we earned the title鎻宨gh and New Technology Enterprise鏀恌 Guangdong Province.
