Literature References: Non-wettable layered solid, CFx, (0.5<x<1.3), obtained by direct fluorination of graphite at high temp. Two covalent forms have been produced by controlling the quality of the graphite and the reaction temp: (CF)n at (300°-600°) and (C2F)n at (350°-400°).
