Pemafibrate, also known as K-877 and (R)-K 13675, is a PPAR alpha agonist. (R)-K-13675 decreases the secretion of inflammatory markers without affecting cell proliferation or tube formation. (2)Pemafibrate, marketed as Parmodia, is a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα) agonist. It is developed and marketed by Kowa Pharmaceuticals.In 3 July 2017, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency approved it in Japan. It is available in 0.1mg tablets.
