Details

Lisinopril is used to treat elevated blood pressure and heart failure. It should be taken at doses specifically directed by the physician. Lisinopril can be taken with or without food. It should be taken at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels. Lisinopril should not be taken within two hours of taking an antacid since the antacid binds lisinopril and prevents its absorption. It?? often tapered when discontinuing.
