INTRODUCTION Water-soluble initiators are mainly used in the aqueous solution polymerization and emulsion polymerization. They have decisive function in processing polyreaction and its processing rate, and can directly affect the capability of polymer. Water-soluble initiators are widely used in oil field exploitation, mining, paper making, water treatment, soil amelioration. APPLICATIONS: 1. Acrylamide polymerization 2. Cinnamene emulsion polymerization 3. Cinnamene and butyl acrylate polymerization. 4. Pressure polymerization or graft polymerization 5. Vinyl ester homopolymerization and copolymerization 6. Vinyl alcohol polymerization ADVANTAGES: 1. Non-nitrile azo initiators. 2. In normal temperature, storage is stable and fatalness is little. 3. Using solely can well initiate monomers at low temperature and concentration, and the residue catalyst is little. 4. Compared with AIBA, the temperature of initiating is lower, and the rate is calmer. 5. Can make two cationic free radicals during the homolysis and decomposition, and this process can get the rate of first level reaction without side reaction in the aqueous solution. 6. Through inducing flat, stable and controllable decomposition, it can produce high-linear and high molecular weight polymers.
