Description:Rimonabant Hydrochloride is the salt form of the first selective CB1 (cannabinoid receptor 1) central receptor inverse agonist (Ki = 1.8 nM). It is widely used as a tool to investigate CB receptor properties.
Usage:Rimonabant Hydrochloride is poorly soluble in aqueous buffers. For maximum solubility in aqueous buffers, the compound should be dissolved in ethanol before diluted with aqueous buffer of interest.
