Beta-pinene,B-pinene
beta-Pinene (β-pinene) is a colorless liquid, soluble in alcohol, but not water. It has a woody-green pine-like smell. It occurs naturally in rosemary, parsley, dill, basil, yarrow, and rose. It is also a major constituent of hop aroma and flavor.[1]
Use:Pinene as the spice little used to daily flavor of bergamot, bay leaves, lavender, and lemon, nutmeg and other edible flavor. Its main use is after pyrolysis, become myrcene, and synthesis of geraniol, nerol, linalool, citronellol, citronella, citral, ionone and other important spices.
