Chloramine-T, Product Name: Chloramine-T, is a white or yellowish crystalline powder with slight chlorine odor, no bitterness, slowly decomposed in the dew, and only one year effective chlorine is reduced by 0.1%, gradually losing chlorine. Turns yellow, soluble in water, ethanol, insoluble in chloroform, ether or benzene. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline to phenolphthalein and litmus reagents, with a pH of 8 to 10.
